Welcome to the Benefits Division. We are responsible for managing the benefit programs for Johnson County employees including: health, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, deferred compensation and the County match supplemental retirement, and flexible spending accounts which includes medical and dependent care reimbursement. We also work with the shared leave benefit program and coordinate the educational reimbursement program.
Benefits are an integral part of the overall compensation package provided by Johnson County. We strive to provide you and your eligible dependents with choices that meet you and your family’s needs.
Benefit Overview Guide provides a summary of Johnson County’s 2013 employee benefits program to assist you in making your benefit elections. Keep in mind the content is not all inclusive, and is not intended to be a legal document.

Although the 2013 Plan contribution rates (premiums) are included in the 2013 Plan Calculator based on your classification (COBRA, Retiree, Active/VRIP Retiree). Be sure you access the correct rate table for accurate information.
