About the Office

The Johnson County Treasurer's Division is, by Kansas State law, responsible for the tax billing, collection, and distribution of tax money for the State, County, Cities, and all other taxing entities that levy ad valorem tax and/or special assessment.

The Treasurer is also responsible for all other moneys belonging to Johnson County and/or directed by law to be paid to the Treasurer.
