About the Office

The Johnson County Treasurer's Department is, by Kansas State law, responsible for the tax billing, collection, and distribution of tax money for the State, County, Cities, and all other taxing entities that levy ad valorem tax and/or special assessment.

The Treasurer is also responsible for all other moneys belonging to Johnson County and/or directed by law to be paid to the Treasurer.

Miles for Meals 5k Run/Walk - June 6, 2009

The Treasurer’s Office and Division of Motor Vehicles invite you to participate in the second annual Feed the Need Miles for Meals 5k Run/Walk. This year's event will be held at Shawnee Mission Park at 8:00 am on June 6th. All proceeds will benefit Feed the Need of Johnson County.
